By accessing or using AlertHero's notification tracking and enrichment service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

AlertHero provides a platform for capturing, enriching, and streaming Android device notifications in real-time. The Service includes:

• Android agent application for notification capture
• Web dashboard for viewing and managing notifications
• Notification enrichment (ticker extraction, sentiment analysis, price data)
• Data export and management tools
• Device enrollment and credential management

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service to:

• Track notifications from your own Android devices
• Analyze notification data for personal or business purposes
• Export your data for backup or analysis

4.2 Prohibited Use

You may NOT use the Service to:

• Monitor devices you do not own or have permission to monitor
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Use the Service for surveillance or stalking purposes
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Resell or sublicense the Service without authorization
• Use automated means to access the Service beyond normal usage

5. Device Enrollment and Security

When enrolling devices:

• You must have ownership or authorization for all enrolled devices
• You are responsible for securely storing device credentials
• You should rotate credentials regularly (recommended every 90 days)
• You must revoke credentials immediately if a device is lost or compromised

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to:

• Collection of notification data from enrolled devices
• Processing and enrichment of notification data
• Storage of data according to our retention policy

You retain ownership of your data and can export or delete it at any time through the dashboard.

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• That all notifications will be captured
• Accuracy of enriched data (tickers, sentiment, prices)
• Availability of third-party market data APIs

We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the Service with or without notice.

8. Limitations and Fair Use

8.1 Service Limits

Your account is subject to the following limits:

• Maximum concurrent WebSocket connections per tenant
• API rate limits
• Data retention periods (90 days for active accounts)
• Maximum number of enrolled devices per plan

8.2 Fair Use

We reserve the right to throttle or suspend service if your usage is deemed excessive or abusive.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, designs, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by AlertHero and protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services including:

• Firebase Authentication
• Market data APIs (Alpha Vantage, Finnhub)
• Sentry for error tracking

Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• MERCHANTABILITY

• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• ACCURACY OF DATA

Important: AlertHero is a notification tracking tool. We do not provide financial advice. Any market data, sentiment scores, or price information is for informational purposes only and should not be used as the sole basis for investment decisions.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALERTHERO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AlertHero from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
